Powered by an alkaline replaceable 9V battery, the Kidde DY29 smoke alarm offers up to five years of protection and includes a large sized hush button in case of false alarms.
The DY29 is designed to be easy to use and install. Its large hush button makes testing the alarm simple and is suitable for those who are visually impaired. Kidde's 'Ramp-Up Horn' allows for the sounder volume to be reduced during the test sequence.
The alarm provides an audible end-of-life notification and visual indication via a flashing LED for a period of 30 days before the alarm fails.
