The AKS™ 3004 is a cutting-edge stabiliser coupling designed to optimise the driving stability and handling of trailers and caravans. It proudly holds the title of the number one stabiliser coupling in Europe.
The AKS™ 3004 incorporates four friction pads. This design significantly enhances driving stability and lane handling when towing a trailer or caravan.
The stabiliser coupling is engineered for improved ergonomics and effectively suppresses snaking and pitching movements, making towing trailers of up to 3,000 kg in gross weight, a safer and more relaxed experience. It complies with ISO 11555-1, enabling a permit for speeds of up to 100 km/h.
The device is easy to install and can be replaced without much hassle, offering convenience to users. It is mounted on the caravan's drawbar instead of the coupling head.
Safety is a top priority, with features like four friction pads which work against snaking and pitching, and a bracket for AL-KO Safety anti-theft protection.
A safety indicator ensures that the AKS™ 3004 is correctly seated on the ball, eliminating the need for complicated additional securing devices.
The stabilisation handle activates by pressing two friction pads against the tow ball of the car, both from the left and right. The hitch and stabilisation handles can be operated with one hand.
The wear indicators provide constant monitoring of the friction pads and coupling mechanism, with easy-to-replace friction pads and a locking receiver for AL-KO Safety hoods. It also includes an integrated Soft-Dock for added convenience.
